🎭Module - Gating (Free)

Token Gating allows the project to assign Discord Roles based on the balance a users holds of supported tokens (NFTs and/or coins).

Before you do anything...

Make sure you've completed the necessary steps:

If you have multiple teams, be sure to select the proper team in the lower left pulldown.

Plans

Free plan features:

• You can create up to 32 TGRs

• You can combine rules via OR + AND logic operators

• Roles are refreshed automatically every 7 days

Premium plan features

• You can create up to 256 TGRs

• You can combine rules via OR + AND logic operators

• Roles are refreshed automatically every 24 hours

• You can request and enable staking contract support

1. Tokens

Setting up Tokens

On the dashboard, click "ADD TOKEN", and set up the details for your tokens.

2. Gating

On the dashboard under the 'TGR' tab, click "ADD RULE".

• Select a Role from your server.

• Select a Token (set up in step 1).

• Set the Required amount.

• Contact Flipguard if you need to set up staking locked tokens through a premium subscription.

The Flipsuite bot will need to be moved above all roles in the Discord > Server Settings > Roles that you wish to be gated.

3. Discord

• Ensure that the FlipSuite bot is moved above any roles you wish it to assign in Server Settings > Roles.

  
• Set up a channel in Discord where your users have view permissions (you will want to turn off send message).

• Run /gating pin to pin the Flipsuite Asset Verification instructions to this channel for your users.

4. Usage

• Users will need follow the steps for asset verification in the channel you pinned.

• Gating will automatically reverify every 7 days or every 24 hours with a premium subscription.
