What's a Discord Webhook?

Discord Webhooks are a low-effort way to post messages to channels in Discord. They do not require a bot user or authentication to use.

How to create a webhook

On desktop (settings up integrations on mobile devices sin't possible), right-click the channel where you want the bot to post messages (i.e sales/listings channels), select "Edit Channel", then select the "Integrations" menu option:

Click on the "Create Webhook" button and a webhook will be created automatically for you:

You can customize the bot's name and image if you'd like, but the main thing you want is the webhook URL. Click "Copy Webhook URL" and when it's required on FlipGuard's dashboard, paste it into the Webhook field.
